Mythic+ in WoW Midnight Season 2: Keys, Rating & Rewards

Mythic+ is the backbone of endgame progression in WoW Midnight, and the game is now in Season 2: Season 1 is over, and patch 12.1.5 brought Keystone Myth back at 3600 rating. Whether you are filling your Great Vault or pushing rating, here is how the system works this season, what changed since Season 1 and where a boost saves you the most time.

How do keystone levels work?

Each keystone level raises enemy health and damage and adds affixes. The key level that matters most for gear is +10: from +10 the end-of-dungeon chest and the Mythic+ row of your Great Vault reach their highest item level. Keys above +10 do not give better loot; they add rating and move you toward the seasonal achievements. One dungeon unlocks the first Vault slot, four unlock the second and eight the third, so eight runs at +10 or higher give three top choices. Our Mythic+ keys cover a single run or a full Vault week.

Season 2 rating rewards

RatingAchievementReward
1500Keystone ConquerorTitle "the Venomous"
2000Keystone MasterBreath of Blight mount
2500Keystone HeroAchievement
3000Keystone LegendBreath of Ruin mount
3600Keystone MythTitle "the Venomous Contender" and the Timelost Saddle

Compared with Season 1, Keystone Myth moved from 3400 to 3600, and Season 1 achievements can no longer be earned. Blizzard describes rating as a value that rises when you complete a dungeon for the first time or beat your best result in it. For each step we have a guide: Keystone Master, Keystone Legend and Keystone Myth, and a matching service: Keystone Master, Keystone Hero, Keystone Legend and Keystone Myth.

Self-Play: How It Works

All TK Gaming Mythic+ boosts are self-play: you join the group on your own character, play alongside our EU team and keep full control of your account. You learn the routes while the group times the key.

When is the best time to buy a Mythic+ boost?

The Season 2 achievements can only be earned during Season 2, and the Timelost Saddle from Keystone Myth expires when the season ends, so do not leave your goal to the final weeks. See the full Mythic+ catalog, or ask us on Discord which step fits your current rating.

info Frequently Asked Questions

What key level gives the best Great Vault reward? expand_more

A +10. From +10 the end-of-dungeon chest and the Mythic+ row of your Great Vault reach their highest item level; higher keys add rating, not better loot. That makes +10 the weekly target for most players.

How many Mythic+ dungeons do I need for all three Vault slots? expand_more

One dungeon unlocks the first slot, four unlock the second and eight unlock the third. Each slot is based on your best, fourth-best and eighth-best key of the week, so eight runs at +10 or higher give three top choices.

What rating do I need for Keystone Master in Season 2? expand_more

Keystone Master needs 2000 Mythic+ rating. Keystone Conqueror is 1500, Keystone Hero 2500, Keystone Legend 3000 and Keystone Myth 3600.

What changed from Season 1 to Season 2? expand_more

Season 2 has its own dungeon pool and its own rewards, and Keystone Myth moved from 3400 rating in Season 1 to 3600 in Season 2. Season 1 achievements can no longer be earned.

What happens to Season 2 rewards when the season ends? expand_more

The Season 2 rating achievements can only be earned during Season 2. The Timelost Saddle from Keystone Myth also expires at the end of the season, so trade it with Lindormi for a mount before then.
